Indie Club

Network quality rules

Small ads. Clear rules.

Every website and promotion is reviewed before delivery. These rules apply to advertisers, publishers, destinations, and the placement itself.

Effective 23 August 2026

A good fit

Useful software, tools, educational products, communities, newsletters, and small internet businesses that accurately explain what they offer and use a safe HTTPS destination.

Not allowed

  • Illegal products, scams, impersonation, malware, phishing, or deceptive downloads
  • Pornographic or sexually explicit content, gambling, weapons, recreational drugs, or tobacco
  • Hate, harassment, graphic violence, exploitation, or discriminatory products
  • Unlicensed financial, medical, legal, or other claims likely to cause material harm
  • Misleading urgency, fake system notices, fake endorsements, or destinations that differ from the reviewed domain

For participating websites

Placement and disclosure

  • Place the widget where a normal visitor can see it without obstructing the site.
  • Keep the “Ad by Indie Club” label and report link visible and unmodified.
  • Do not ask for clicks, disguise the promotion as site navigation, or generate automated traffic.
  • Tell visitors about Indie Club in your privacy notice using the disclosure supplied in the dashboard.
  • Remove or pause the widget promptly if your site or audience is no longer suitable for the network.

Review and enforcement

We may reject, pause, or remove a site or promotion, reverse credits linked to abuse, and suspend an account. A network-wide kill switch can stop all delivery while an incident is investigated.

Report or appeal

Visitors can use the report link beneath every live advertisement. Members can ask about a review decision at hello@joinindie.club.
